Privacy Policy

The Short Version
We collect very little data. What we do collect, we collect for specific reasons and we do not share it with anyone outside of two analytics services. If you want us to delete your information, just ask. That is the summary — the rest of this page explains each point in more detail.
Who We Are
This website is operated by Loxton Business Banking Consultants Ltd., a business consulting firm located at 5188 Sunrise Court, Mississauga, Ontario L5R 4A6. When we say "we" or "us" in this policy, that is who we mean. You can reach us at [email protected] or by calling (303) 925-9025.
What We Collect and Why
When you fill out the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message field. We use that information for exactly one purpose: to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not share your contact details with anyone else.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it to send you the newsletter — monthly, as promised — and nothing else. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. If you use it, we remove your address from the list within 48 hours.
We also collect some information automatically through cookies and analytics tools (more on that below). This includes things like which pages you visited, how long you stayed, and what device and browser you used. We cannot identify you personally from this data — it is aggregate and anonymous.
How We Use Cookies
Cookies are small files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. We use two kinds:
Necessary cookies. These make the site work properly. For example, we store your cookie consent preference so we do not ask you every time you visit. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site — which pages are popular, where visitors come from, how long they stay. This helps us improve the site's content and structure. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information in a way that does not personally identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Third-Party Services
We use two third-party services on this site:
Google Analytics — for understanding site traffic patterns. Google's privacy policy applies to the data they collect. We have configured Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses, which means even Google does not receive your full IP.
Google Ads — we run advertising through Google Ads, which may place cookies on your device to measure ad performance and serve relevant ads on other websites. You can manage your ad preferences through Google's Ad Settings.
We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not use any other third-party tracking services.
Your Rights
You have the right to ask us what personal information we have about you. You also have the right to ask us to delete it. In practice, this applies primarily to contact form submissions and newsletter subscriptions — those are the only places where we store information that could identify you.
To exercise any of these rights, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within five business days.
How to Opt Out of Tracking
You have several options. You can decline cookies when our consent banner appears — this prevents analytics cookies from loading. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on mentioned above. You can also adjust your browser settings to block third-party cookies entirely. Any of these approaches will work, and none of them will prevent the site from functioning properly.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the "last updated" date at the top and — if the change is significant — note the change on our homepage. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without giving you notice.
